Dr. Dina Lucchesi

Dr. Dina Lucchesi is passionate about working with athletes of all ages, and committed to helping people operate at the top of their game. As an athlete herself, she knows what it’s like to have a serious injury, and how difficult the recovery process can be. That’s why she decided to open Core Physical Therapy & Performance. 


Dina is a physical therapist, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with extensive coaching experience. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University. Dina has taken advanced courses to specialize in treatment and management of sport related concussion. She also has advanced training in joint mobilizations, joint manipulations and soft tissue mobilization. 

In her free time, Dina enjoys weightlifting, boxing, cycling, and golfing. She recently competed in her first boxing match, and looks forward to more!

Dr. Lauren Rogerson

Dr. Lauren believes that everyone is an athlete in their own way, and is passionate about providing supportive and compassionate care where the therapist and patient truly work as a team. Having needed a few rounds of physical therapy herself since she was a teenager, Lauren knows how important it is to have a physical therapist you trust who really cares about you as a person and athlete. That's why she decided to join Core Physical Therapy & Performance. 


Lauren is a physical therapist with over 5 years of experience working with the outpatient orthopedic and athletic populations, and has also worked in the hospital setting. So, she truly appreciates helping people do the basics like sitting and standing, the not-so-basics like running, jumping - and everything in between. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from Simmons University, where she has also continued to teach physical therapy students in the anatomy lab. This experience and passion for teaching helps her to better educate and empower her patients every day.  She has taken continuing education courses in joint mobilizations and manipulations, taping, chronic pain management, lower extremity injuries. 


In her free time, Lauren enjoys taking spin classes, weight lifting, and making a mess of her kitchen trying new recipes. You can find Lauren skiing in the winter, and sailing or at the beach during summertime.

Dr. Jess Danahy

Dr. Jess Danahy believes that exercise is medicine, and loves working with athletes and active people to ensure they can continue doing the things they love. Growing up as a gymnast, Jess knows that her sport shaped her identity, and she understands just how much movement is connected to emotional as well as physical health. 

Jess is a physical therapist with experience working with athletes of a variety of ages in numerous different sports. She graduated from Simmons University and has since undergone training to specialize in pelvic health physical therapy in addition to orthopedic physical therapy. Through providing pelvic health physical therapy, Jess helps women to stay active through pregnancy and the postpartum period, and works with women to resolve many pelvic health conditions including urinary incontinence, urinary urgency and frequency, pain with intercourse, and more. 

In her free time, Jess enjoys running, strength training, hiking, reading, and snuggling her dog, Koda.
