About Dr. Jess Danahy
Dr. Jess Danahy, PT, DPT believes that movement is medicine — and she's passionate about helping athletes and active individuals stay strong, resilient, and doing what they love. A former gymnast, Jess understands firsthand how deeply movement is tied not just to physical health, but to identity and emotional well-being.

Jess earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons University and has experience working with athletes across a wide range of ages and sports. She has pursued advanced training in both orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy, allowing her to provide truly comprehensive care. Jess is also a Certified Run Coach, blending her clinical expertise with a deep understanding of running biomechanics and performance.

As a pelvic health specialist, Jess empowers women to stay active during pregnancy, confidently return to movement postpartum, and overcome challenges such as urinary incontinence, urgency, frequency, and pain with intercourse, among other conditions. Her approach is rooted in education, empathy, and evidence-based strategies that help her patients feel strong, supported, and in control of their bodies.

Outside the clinic, Jess enjoys running, strength training, hiking, reading, and snuggling her dog, Koda — her loyal adventure buddy and downtime companion.
